Delete your account

Last updated: September 10, 2026

This page belongs to Traders (tradersapp.co), the app for sticker and card collectors. Here's how to delete your account and all your data, and exactly what happens when you do.

How to request it

If you can sign in

Sign in and go to Settings. At the bottom you'll find “Delete my account”. It asks you to type your username to confirm, and it's deleted right away. No need to email anyone or wait for a reply.

Go to Settings and delete it

If you can't sign in

If you lost your password or already uninstalled the app, request it by email and we'll do it within 72 hours. What to put in the message is below.

Request deletion by email

What to put in the email

Write to info@tradersapp.co from the same email address you signed up with. It's the only way we can verify the account is yours: if the request comes from a different address we can't act on it, because that would be a way to delete someone else's account.

Include your Traders username (the one starting with @). Without it we can't find your account from the admin panel, because the search doesn't search by email.

We reply and delete within 72 hours.

What gets deleted

Your sign-in account and your email address.

Your whole profile: username, display name, bio, photo, state and ZIP area.

The collections you follow and every sticker you logged.

The meetups you took part in, with their proposals, the cards in each trade, the chat messages and the shipping details with name and postal address.

Ratings and comments, both the ones you left and the ones you received.

Who you follow and who follows you, blocks you placed and received, reports you filed and reports filed about you.

Your push notification subscriptions, your answers to in-app questions and your event RSVPs.

What you posted in groups, with its photos, plus your comments and thumbs up.

All of it is deleted from our servers and from Supabase, the provider hosting the database, account access and images.

What we keep, and why

If an administrator ever acted on your account (a suspension, or a deletion you requested) we keep a record of that action with its date and reason, alongside an internal identifier that no longer points to any profile or to your email. It's kept for safety and abuse prevention, which is one of the reasons Google's own policy allows. Nothing else is kept.

Daily totals (how many people, how many stickers logged) are stored as plain numbers with nothing pointing at a person. They aren't your data and they don't change when you delete.

What you should know first

It can't be undone. There's no trash bin and no grace period: once deleted, it's gone.

We don't offer freezing or deactivating the account as an alternative. Deleting means deleting.

When a meetup you shared with someone else is deleted, that person loses it from their history too, along with the rating you gave each other. It's the price of really deleting, and we'd rather warn you than leave your name lying around.

If you had a mail trade in progress, it disappears without notice for the other person. If you can, let them know first.
